Hepatitis A Outbreak In Hawaii

The ISTM GeoSentinel reports an ongoing outbreak of hepatitis A on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. There have been 52 cases identified over the past few weeks with the first onset of illness occurring mid-June. Although recently a food service employee at an ice cream shop tested positive, the actual source of the outbreak has not yet been determined.
